• Sorbent Particulate are an easily applied, shredded material with increased recovery properties as they provide maximum retention through complete surface area application 
• Particulates are intended for on-land or very small, controlled in-water spills
• Particulates are unique as they are effective for all ranges of viscous oils, especially light and medium oils, providing maximum retention of these oils while requiring minimal storage once applied and properly recovered
• The application must be done in a controlled fashion in order to properly recover the Particulates
• When properly applied the application of Particulates is very straight forward, rapid and effective; allowing the spill to be recovered with the least amount of material expended but with maximum effectiveness and retention
• Particulates are recovered easily in controlled situations, maximizing recovery rates as their surface encounter rate is generally 100% due to their size and design
